Baan Kanom Patha – Custard Bun: Packaging Design Project

Challenge: The lava pandan custard bun has become the signature product of “Baan Kanom Patha,” thanks to its rich, creamy filling that oozes with sweetness and a natural aroma from premium ingredients. However, the current packaging design fails to reflect the product’s quality or enhance the brand’s image. Issues with color, font, graphics, and photography create inconsistencies that undermine its potential appeal.

Idea: The simplicity of the lava pandan custard bun inspired us to highlight its irresistible charm in a minimalistic yet captivating way. We chose to feature an image of the custard oozing down onto another bun below, paired with small ingredient visuals to subtly convey the natural flavors. The presentation on a wooden board adds warmth and authenticity, while the clean, understated design creates a powerful impact that leaves a lasting impression.
