Malabar Tea House is a concept project where we explored the seamless blend of storytelling and design to create an immersive and distinctive brand experience. At the core of this identity lies an ornate crest—an intricate yet dynamic emblem that serves as a visual anchor for the brand. Designed with versatility in mind, the crest can be deconstructed into its individual elements, allowing for adaptable and engaging brand applications across various touchpoints.

Rooted in the heritage of the Malabar region, the palm tree stands as a symbol of the brand’s deep connection to its origins. This iconic element is thoughtfully interwoven with tea leaves, reinforcing the essence of the product, while celestial motifs—the sun and the moon—represent the brand’s diverse tea offerings, catering to both invigorating daytime rituals and soothing nighttime indulgences.

To further enrich the brand’s personality, we introduced a playful monkey character, inspired by the native wildlife of the region. This whimsical addition infuses the identity with a sense of warmth and approachability, making the brand feel lively and engaging. For digital applications, we brought this character to life through animation, ensuring that even in a virtual space, the brand retains its dynamic and interactive nature.

The tea offerings have been thoughtfully curated to reflect both cultural heritage and a refined sense of indulgence. We designed two exquisite flavors—Kashmiri Kahwa, a rich and spiced infusion, and Imperial Rose, a delicate yet luxurious floral blend. Each tea embodies the brand’s dedication to craftsmanship, sophistication, and authenticity.
