The project focused on developing two packaging designs for gourmet truffles—Pistachio with Damask Rose and White Chocolate with Dukkah—conceived in direct connection with the culture and architecture of Jordan, their place of origin.
In line with the project briefing and technical requirements, each package was designed to enhance the consumer experience while establishing a dialogue with the culture, religion, and architectural heritage of the King Abdullah Mosque in Jordan.
The typography of the Najm logo was chosen for its curves inspired by the arches and domes of the King Abdullah Mosque, serving as both an aesthetic and symbolic reference throughout the project. The pattern and graphic elements were developed based on the geometric structures and ornamental details found inside the mosque. In addition, the circular graphic element represents the sun or the morning star—a visual translation of the name Najm, which in Arabic means “star.”
More than just a confectionery product, each package was crafted to provide a sophisticated sensory experience, designed to be appreciated through four senses: sight, touch, smell, and taste.
