Studio Narrative for Auld Distillery

One of the few distilleries on earth to grow their own grain, Auld Distillery’s Ocean—Mountain Gin series is created with ingredients sourced from the farm and surrounding Southland, New Zealand region.

Studio Narrative designed the suite to tell a terroir story of Southland, whilst also developing a packaging system that could house all three gins in one gift box, crafted in collaboration with Think Packaging. With background artwork by Kiwi artist Jane Blackmore, bold typography and high finishes such as copper foil and 3D sculpted embossing, the final result is an unboxing experience that resembles a miniature journey of discovery.
