And all managed by a lovely Italian couple that deeply cares about nature, family and arts. The visual identity aims to express these values by being simple and sustainable.

What makes Olivissa unique? With the technique of linography, we obtain different prints each time. Similarly, the Olivissa soaps’ size and texture vary. Some soaps smell like wild flowers or herbs collected under the olive trees, while others give you the pure, fresh sensation of a summer night under the starry sky. Olivissa is a small manufacture reflecting this irregular beauty of nature and the hard work of the people behind the brand. Prints and patterns made with linocut appear on the soap box. The rounded edges and the oval, olive-like hole of the front side make the shape of the otherwise square soap harmonious. The function of the small ‘window’ is also to show the magical, light green color of the soap (and also the product’s main ingredient, the olive oil). In addition, the rustic olive leaves and olives, as well as the diligent hands that collect them, appear on the packaging and the product.

As the target group is mainly middle-class women, the packaging is delicate, elegant and simple. We kept environmental awareness and cost-efficiency in mind, so there is not a single glued surface in the box and the printing is done in one color, a deep, warm green. The box opens almost like a flower that reveals the ‘green gold’.The colors of the paper used for the packaging, the light green chosen for the classic soap and the pale purple paired with the variant containing flowers and herbs, reinforces the feminine, pampering nature of the visual identity.
