When designing the packaging for Caterno cocoa powder, it was important to deviate from the traditional box shape to highlight the product’s uniqueness and exotic flavor. I placed the cocoa powder in a house-shaped box, prominently featuring Peruvian patterns to emphasize its origin. Yellow, a characteristic color of woven textiles, also signifies the richness of cocoa. The pattern was built using a square grid system. The set of pictograms provides guidance for its versatile use. The front of the box displays the symbols of its purity and free-from attributes in a unified and organic style.
