” RASA PANTUN “
Brand Idea
Rasa Pantun is a modern supplement brand that combines traditional Malaysian herbs with the playful wit of pantun. Inspired by the slang-like sound between “半蹲” (ban-dun / half squat) and pantun, the brand turns energy boosting into a cultural punchline; you literally rasa pantun after consuming it.
By combining Tongkat Ali, Misai Kucing, and Kacip Fatimah with nostalgic pop-culture icons like Ultraman, Hello Kitty, and Doraemon, Rasa Pantun transforms wellness into a fun Malaysian cultural experience. It’s not just a health supplement, it is Malaysian culture recharged, repacked and retold in a way that today’s youth can enjoy.
Cultural Insight
Pantun used to be the heartbeat of Malaysian expression; spontaneous, cheeky, witty, and socially bonding. But to the younger generation today, pantun is seen as old-school, ceremonial, and only relevant during competitions or formal national events. The cultural wit and everyday banter spirit of pantun is slowly disappearing.
Rasa Pantun was created to bring pantun back into pop culture through the one thing youth value, lifestyle consumption. By making pantun bite-sized, collectable, playful and product-based, Rasa Pantun makes our traditional verbal art relevant again. Not through preservation, but reinvention. This project turns pantun into an energy supplement format that fits modern youth behaviour, social content culture, and Malaysian humour today.
