Packaging design for Caramel Almond Brittle Hand-cut Squares, a premium gift confectionery newly developed by Awashin, a long-established Japanese confectionery maker in Osaka.

The product is packaged in a jar to protect against moisture, allowing customers to enjoy it at their own pace. A tamper-evident seal and a body label were required. To simplify the manual packaging process and reduce costs, the design aligns the texture of the black body label with that of the black lid, connecting the two with a slender gold seal. The interplay of the two labels creates contrast and visual structure, resulting in a simple yet layered design.
