Omi no Miso

The Package Designs for “Omi no Miso” made by Gihei, a long-established brewery that has been in business for over 150 years. Gihei produces high quality miso in Omi, one of Japan’s leading rice-producing regions, located next to Kyoto.

We commissioned Koga Mochizuki, a traditional craftsman, to carve seals representing the concept and designed a traditional package using these seals.
