ORIGINS AND PHILOSOPHY
Founded in 2003 by Paco Adín and Lourdes Morillas, Supperstudio was born as a small branding and packaging boutique in Madrid. They define themselves as “Happy Packaging Lovers”: creative, multidisciplinary, independent and passionate about telling stories through packaging
Their approach -called Happy Packaging- looks for cheerful, humorous, inclusive and sustainable designs; illustration, typography and color are at the core of their process.
OUTSTANDING AWARDS
Pentawards Agency of the Year in 2016 (jury award in Shanghai) and in 2021, becoming the only Spanish agency awarded twice. In 2021 they added 10 Pentawards (3 Gold, 6 Silver, 1 Bronze), with award-winning projects such as Love is Love Olive Oil, Cold Brew Coffee and El Corte Inglés cleaning gloves. In 2023 they won the People's Choice Award, with six more awards, bringing their total to 41 Pentawards. In 2024, they added two golds and three silvers, reaching 47 awards in this contest and standing out in the global ranking.
Approach and Methodology
Led by Paco Adín, creative director and partner, who emphasizes the strategic role of packaging today.
Color and typography are carefully selected according to brand positioning, market and desired attributes.
They promote eco-design: reduction of inks, choice of FSC and recyclable materials, integration of sustainability from the briefing.

Packagings for Avery Dennison: Build your Brand campaign (e.g. Love is Love Olive Oil, Help me Save the oceans).
Projects for El Corte Inglés: from cleaning lines to food and preserves, awarded with multiple Pentawards and Vertex Awards. Design for chef Dabiz Muñoz: branding and packaging for Goxo Delivery and Roxcón Christmas edition, enhancing its transgressive and gourmet character.
