Ciranda’s farofa is produced with natural and special ingredients. The recipes bring back the ancient process of farofa making, mixed with contemporary flavours. Ciranda is as special as a family circular dance. Ciranda is a sieve which separates the best grains from the flour.
Naming, visual identity and packaging were developed in this project. The illustrations show Brazilian women from colonial times mixing exotic, colonizer-brought delicacies. The package brings together a modernist theme from post colonial Brazil artists with a contemporary, cleaner, pictorial aesthetic.
