Oromo is a coffee house, sourcing all their beans from Ethiopia; considered as the finest coffee beans in the world as they are known as the culture of coffee. The whole brand was inspired by the brand’s name and how coffee was discovered. It all started from Oromo in Ethiopia by a young shepherd, who discovered that coffee had regenerating properties after watching his goats nibbling the ripe berries of the coffee plant and got energetic. And after this discovery, the Oromo people started spreading it to the world.

The logo design reflects the story behind coffee in a simple and modern way. The logo type is created in a geometrical form inspired by coffee bean’s shape. The three “O” letters inside the logo reflects the story in a unique way.

Each O is a stop of a new situation:

  • Oromo’s location
  • Oromo discovered that coffee energizes the body
  • Oromo spread coffee to the world
