OUR GOAL

The goal of this company was to “provide beautiful, customized packages full of cozy, memorable presents, to bring friends together across distances.” Our goal was to design an aesthetically appealing, modern, mid-fidelity prototype website that allows a user to purchase standard gift boxes or customize their own products on the site.

PACKAGE CONCEPT

It is made of love to all lovers all over the world, It is made to bring happiness everywhere, and that is what I bring on the design with special words to the gift receiver so, in the end, it’s an exceptional gift box.

These 3 gift boxes ( Flowers, Macaron cake, and Cake ) each package has different messages to deliver, all of which belong to happiness.

RESEARCH AND DISCOVERY

USER RESEARCH

Our team began our design process with a series of user interviews and research into the current gift box market. Originally we focused our efforts on building a subscription box but, as a group, we made the decision to pivot into the building and selling individual gift boxes instead after reconsidering the client brief. The interviews we conducted ultimately led us to understand three things:

Users placed great importance on a variety of gift items Customization was a major priority People placed importance on giving heartfelt gifts to loved ones in person

PROBLEM

How do we design for our users while also leveraging the needs of the client? Our findings that users preferred to deliver highly personalized gifts in person lay in direct conflict with the business model that the client had in mind.

SOLUTION

SweetFleet grants the user a seamless way to send standard gift boxes or create highly personalized gift boxes with options for customization. The standard gift box option would allow the user to send a more thoughtful gift than just sending a card while also showing the recipient they care.
