Odemel is a mead created in Portugal, mead is considered to be one of the first drinks invented by Man, it is an alcoholic beverage made by fermenting honey mixed with water, and sometimes with added ingredients such as fruits, spices, grains, or hops.
The Odemel brand grows from the desire to glorify honey and immortalize moments. It is a premium brand of mead that undergoes a minimum aging period of 12 to 18 months.
Designing a label for mead required a creative and strategic approach that effectively communicates the unique characteristics of the beverage and appeals to the target audience.
Here are some of the design directions we consider:
Mead has a long history dating back to ancient times, so incorporating historical elements into the label design can add a sense of authenticity and interest. This could include vintage-style typography, vintage-inspired illustrations, and using traditional color palettes.
Nature-Inspired: Mead is made from honey, so incorporating natural imagery into the label design can create a connection to the ingredients and the brewing process. This could include illustrations of honey bees, flowers, or other elements of the natural world.
Overall, the design direction for the mead label should align with the brand’s personality and the target audience’s preferences. The label should effectively communicate the unique qualities of the mead and create a strong visual presence on the shelf.
The label design and the quality of the product make this Mead a premium product.
