At Lyon & Lyon we love a project that celebrates the power of nature, that simultaneously empowers those that use it, so a functional fungi concept project was a must. We wanted to develop something that was easy and joyful to consume; a truly beneficial product.

Today’s Special combines hearty wholesome ingredients with the power adaptogenics. It’s a fusion of foodie enthusiasm that re-wilds lunchtime by adding a little nature to the everyday. Perfectly packaged for the lunch break foragers who want to really feel their meals.

Our chosen route for the final design was the Layered Lunch concept. This decision was down to the route this feeling the most unexpected for the aisle, (less plants, less wholesome sketchiness), yet also gave the best opportunity for clear hierarchy. There is a lot to balance with the messaging so something that was clean and bold felt like a good direction to head in!
