Stephen King’s Novel: The Body

For the cover, I chose Stephen King’s novel The Body, which, unlike his better-known works, is a coming-of-age story wrapped around a tragedy. In my design for it, I wanted to evoke this inner journey and use the symbols that appear in the work. And I decided to use blue as the main color, because I wanted to juxtapose the possibilities and uncertainty of tomorrow with the characters’ story by depicting the night.
