FB Cook: Branding & Packaging Design
Challenge: A Japanese, high quality, ‘ready to eat’ and ‘ready to cook’ meal brand with a fun and friendly character, wants to expand its market. The current branding and packaging does not reflect its identity well, or differentiate the two types of meals.
Idea: The branding design offers a fun and friendly vibe with a ‘make-it-yourself’ meal. The packaging’s composition is lively Japanese, with brush strokes and Japan flag illustrations. The two types of meals are marked with color stripes and text under the logo. A picture of cooking is for ‘ready to cook’ meals, and a ready-to-serve dish for ‘ready to eat’ meals.
