History is important, says the confectionery brand Pergalė. Their iconic chocolates, Vilnius and Sostinės, were crafted over 50 years ago as equivalents to French desserts, and oh boy, did the ladies fall in love! These sweets are legacy products with character. They are a part of every occasion: from visits to grandparents, and Christmas offerings, to sending best wishes from Lithuania. Despite their timeless appeal, the packaging of these sweets has not been renewed for years.
Just as Pergalė committed to keeping the best from the past, we went for a laconic packaging uplift. Minimal intervention was undertaken, preserving the authenticity of the original design — clean with a graphic finish. Typography and line art elements were kept along with their nostalgic aura.
MARC DE CHAMPAGNE EXTENSION
A new Marc de Champagne flavor was recently added to the historical sweet family. The luxurious name and taste of these sweets required the classic aesthetics of high-end alcohol labels, using the combo of blue and gold.
