SITUATION
In Lithuania, as well as globally, the consumption of easy-drinking, lighter, and less hopped beer is constantly growing. Since 1995, Švyturys Ekstra beer has been the most popular choice in Lithuania. In response to this trend, Švyturys has decided to expand its flagship Ekstra range by introducing a new family member – Švyturys Ekstra Dry.
SOLUTION
When considering the taste characteristics of the new beer — subtle, refreshing, and easy to drink — we decided to undress the can. Typically, in the mainstream beer category, we see a lot of colors, gold, and other, let’s say, luxury elements. However, for Dry beer, we aimed for an approach that reflects an almost Japanese purity. Only as much as necessary.
