Introducing the Ayurveda-inspired packaging design for Zandu’s Red toothpaste as it enters the dental care category. With the rising demand for natural and holistic dental care products, Zandu wanted to enter the dental space with a unique offering that combines its ayurvedic legacy with modern format and TCT Strategic Branding was given the brief.
One of the key highlights of this packaging design is the brand name “DANTVEER,” which translates to “tooth warrior” in English. We wanted to weave a story around the product to create a distinction in the crowded category and that is how Dantveer was brought to life. It has become a strong verbal and visual brand asset that could be leveraged for communication to create a brand recall. This evocative term not only captures the essence of strength and protection but also establishes a strong identity for Zandu’s Red toothpaste within the dental care category.
The Ayurveda-inspired design elements used in packaging like the parchment background, and a scroll to highlight ingredients convey authenticity, reliability, and trustworthiness – all crucial factors in attracting consumers who seek natural alternatives in their oral care routine. The warrior tale has been highlighted on the Back Panel along with the 9-in-1 Action benefit story.
Our aim was to create a complete brand language that not only catches attention on store shelves but also communicates an inherent belief in holistic well-being through its thoughtfully crafted brand story and compelling visuals!
