Situation
Herbarus is a premium brand of tea for modern and active people who take care of their health and value quality. Initially, the brand produced herbal blends but then expanded the assortment by adding black and green teas, familiar to consumers, with and without natural herbal additives.
Task
To develop an aesthetic design for tea packaging with clear differentiation by taste. It is important to visually fit into the existing line of Herbarus herbal teas, stand on the main shelf alongside the leaders of the tea market, and stand out among them.
Solution
The brand is proud of its composition: it chooses the best herbs, berries, and teas for its blends and does not use dyes or flavors. The idea of Herbarus is that taking care of health can be fun. Our team reflected this in the packaging.
To preserve visual continuity, we created hand-drawn illustrations using dry pastels. Light sketches convey the tenderness of herbal teas, while bright shades set the right accents, reflecting the features of the blends. The drawings not only define the nature of the products but also help differentiate drinks by composition. Thus, the design serves as an understandable visual navigator for consumers.
For teas with additives, we focused on taste; for this purpose, we depicted the main ingredients on the packaging. Dark colors and popular images referring to the countries of origin were used for products from the classic assortment. These are the types of tea that are firmly entrenched in consumer associations.
