Qué is a brewery inspired by the bold and fresh taste of Spain. The goal of this brand and packaging design project was to develop a sleek and bright creative direction that is bold in its simplicity, to ensure that the designs will stand out from the busy, illustrative visuals used by most of the competition in the industry. Therefore, the brand identity was created in a way to catch the eye of a shopper by the use of minimalist forms, bold contrasts, lots of white space, and daring colour choices.
The new identity for the Qué beer brand needed to reflect their high-quality approach to the production process, high-end ingredients, and clean, environmentally-friendly solutions, while at the same time evoking the bold, bright and fresh feeling of Spain as their main inspiration. In order to achieve that, the look and feel of the new brand identity was kept in a sleek, minimalist style with a touch of modern elegance added in the italic serif font of the logo. To reflect the high-end character of the brand, an elegant, minimalist, geometric font was used for the product descriptions on the packaging, emphasising the premium quality of the products. Lots of white space lets the designs breathe, providing a modern, airy, minimalist feeling. All those clean, modern, minimalistic forms are paired with a colour palette that represents the fresh and innovative vibe of the brand. The bold, bright, complementary colour combinations, with their fluorescent look and a daring, adventurous character, provide a strong contrast to the otherwise clean and minimalist feel of the packaging, being a great reflection of the Spanish reference and inspiration. Each beer is complemented by a matching colour pairing to reflect its unique flavour notes and to elevate the branding experience. These simple, yet bold visuals convey a clean and minimalist concept with a bold, cool, and modern flair.
