Becker beer | Complete packaging redesign

Becker is one of the biggest beer brands in Chile. In 1990, Becker beer was launched on the Chilean market, a product of the association between the Argentine brewery Quilmes and Cervecerías Chile.
Becker is a beer with low alcohol content, considered low fermentation (lager). The main objective in launching the product, according to specialists from Cervecerías Chile, was “to achieve closeness between the brand and the consumer, so that the product ‘participated’ in daily activities, with a strong connotation of youth and entertainment.”

Now, in 2023, they were in urgent need of a new packaging design, fresher and bolder. They need to stand out and be more recognizable on the shelves and for the young generations, so, the studio came up with this redesign.

Becker es una de las marcas de cerveza más grandes de Chile. En 1990 se lanza al mercado chileno, producto de la asociación entre la cervecería argentina Quilmes y Cervecerías Chile. Becker es una cerveza de baja graduación alcohólica, considerada de baja fermentación (lager). El principal objetivo del lanzamiento del producto, según especialistas, fue “lograr cercanía entre la marca y el consumidor, para que el producto ‘participara’ de las actividades diarias, con una fuerte connotación de juventud y entretenimiento”.

Hoy, en 2023, necesitaban urgentemente un nuevo diseño de sus latas, más fresco y bold. Buscaban destacarse y ser más reconocibles en lsa góndolas y posicionarse entre generaciones más jóvenes.
