Hapi Brewing Co., a local microbrewery in Mumbai, is known for producing fresh craft beers with local ingredients, supplying to various taprooms across the city. During the lockdown, they got into bottling beers to make these fresh beers available to their customers across Mumbai. They have five flavours of beer, and one cider on offer.

The brief: Stand out from the rest of the brewery community in Mumbai.

Hapi Brewing Co. as a brand has a Rastafari culture. Thus, in keeping with the Rastafarian core of the brand, these beer labels were designed to bring out the Rastafarian flair and belief of the brand, illustrated with hippie flourishes and music elements. After all, music and beer go together. The colours are picked around the Rasta hues, with the play of typography to make each label stand out from the other, but yet as a whole be a part of the same Hapi family.
