Shazar | Branding & Packaging

Shazar is a women’s jewelry and accessories brand built around a simple idea: beauty is not defined by a single piece, but by the details that come together to create something greater.

The name and identity are inspired by the concept of small, precious fragments individual pieces that may seem separate, yet become something complete, valuable, and meaningful when connected. The identity blends quiet luxury, contemporary Arabic character, and a subtle Gulf influence, creating a refined feminine presence that relies on detail rather than excess.

The challenge was to build a distinctive identity for a new jewelry and accessories brand without falling into the familiar visual clichés of luxury. The goal was to create a personality that feels refined and feminine, yet contemporary carrying a subtle Arabic and Gulf character without feeling traditional, while expressing luxury without excessive ornamentation. The identity also needed to be flexible enough to extend across jewelry, packaging, digital content, and the brand’s overall visual experience.

The solution began with the idea of connection between individual pieces. The identity was developed around the concept of fragments coming together to form something complete, turning this idea into both a visual and conceptual foundation for the brand. The symbol reflects pieces coming together into a balanced form, representing how every Shazar piece contributes its own value to the bigger picture. The visual identity is built around a deep palette of burgundy, emerald green, and soft desert tones, complemented by subtle gold accents that reinforce the jewelry and luxury character.

The overall art direction was designed to feel quiet, poetic, and refined, using generous negative space and imagery that focuses on detail, texture, and light rather than visual excess. The result is a contemporary Arabic identity with a distinct presence one that can evolve naturally across every brand touchpoint.
