We are always happy to build long-term relationships with our clients, walking together the path of growth and development. One of such clients for us is Ilie Gogu, who’s selling his wines under the brand Gogu Winery. When Ilie approached us for a label design back in 2015, his runs were only a couple of hundred bottles per variety. Now it’s several thousand. And, of course, when the variety range expands there’s a need for label adjustment and renewal in order to reflect the traits of any particular wine. This was exactly the case with the new Feteasca Alba by Gogu Winery.
The traditional Moldovan variety Feteasca Alba is defined by a light character and rich aroma of wildflowers. So it was logic to build the design’s color scheme in shades of white (Alba – rom. white). While keeping all the main elements, which are already familiar to the consumer, completely unchanged, we’ve focused on refining the secondary details, which made the entire label feel more complete, minimal, modern. As a result, with a complete lack of any precise descriptions, even a glimpse of the label tells us that the bottle contains a light white dry wine, produced by a small winemaker that values traditions and strives for the highest quality of their products.
