Eatknit – farm cheese

Russia

Chechil is a string cheese made by farmers from the milk of their own goats. Translated from Armenian, it means “tangled“. In the concept of our product, we combined two images associated with goats: cheese and wool. Chechil is a hand–made string cheese. It is usually sold in the form of a tightly twisted braid. We suggest changing the serving format and twisting the cheese string into balls or winding it into coils, as is traditionally done with woolen threads. Such serving is designed to recreate the image of the work of ancient manufactories, convey warmth and comfort, and the carefulness of manual production, so inherent in private farms.

The label was made in the form of a paper sleeve, which refers to the balls of wool. Rough paper with natural fibers was chosen. The logo – an image of a rocking toy in the form of a goat – creates a warm mood and emotionally engages the customer, appealing to bright associations from childhood. The name “Eatknit” is easy to remember, and its rhyme is combined with a naive logo.

There are gift sets made of cheese in various packages and branded sweaters made of goat wool. Warm and delicious😊
