To celebrate the 380th anniversary of the oldest Port wine house, Kopke launched Kopke CNK, a tribute to their founder, Cristiano Nicolau Kopke, that symbolizes the commitment, dedication and care of different generations have had to preserve the house’s heritage until the present days.

Limited to 380 numbered bottles of a very old tawny Port, this special edition that results of a blend of wines from the 1920’s and 30’s and the rare Colheita 1900, was developed by Omdesign, that sought to reflect all the passion and tradition left by their founder, which are still respected and perpetuated.

This commemorative and luxurious edition was made with noble materials, as Portuguese walnut wood and natural leather, that, in combination with the selected finishes, as fire engraving and screen printing, convey a premium and elegant aspect to this packaging. To reinforce its singularity, also the bottle has differentiating elements, as the brand’s logo in high relief, the bartop made with the same wood of the packaging and also graved in fire.

What’s Unique?
The Omdesign’s major challenge in this project was to create a unique and commemorative packaging, which would faithfully mirror and enhance the positioning of Kopke as a renowned brand of high quality Port wines, recognized all over the world by their rare Colheita’s collection, at the same time that celebrates and pays homage to their founder.
