This range of ground and unground coffee beans for the Mexican café chain Ah Cacao is sourced from local plantations in the southern Mexican state of Chiapas. Its aim is to support the conservation of Mexican wildlife and habitats by sourcing only from plantations where the coffee is sustainably shade-grown, conserving the wildlife habitat. This initial range is from the high-altitude Arroyo Negro plantation which includes a 1,500-hectare nature reserve.
We highlighted the plight of a different threatened species on each product and gave the packaging an authentic, artisanal feel. The communication is bilingual, ensuring that both locals and tourists can understand and get behind this important cause.
