The Modest Swimwear Label That Fights Labels.
Lalouni provides the answer for women whose cultural, style, religion or personal values desire a sensibility embodied in modest swimwear. They aim to prove that women can be covered, beautiful and feel confident no matter what they choose to wear. They take the shady out of shopping by making the search for modest swimwear worry-free.
The Lalouni brand style is bold, luxurious, sophisticated, colorful, approachable, inclusive, and timeless yet contemporary. We designed a modern, contemporary logotype accompanied by 2 distinct brand marks: a double L mark that will be used for the sportswear collection, and a second mark that consists of a stylish, chic palm that would be used to elevate the more sophisticated swimwear or dress collections. The logo is paired with a contemporary font meant only for very big headers (Grand Slang), while medium headers are set in a bolder, taller sans serif font called Gazzetta.
The brand color palette is inspired by the first swimwear collection which comes in soft neutrals, beiges, and brown colors. We incorporated 2 pastel accent colors to reflect a Morrocan, joyful vibe – summer pink and sky blue.
To reflect the elegant, sophisticated vibe of the brand, the stationery and hangtags are printed in hot-stamped gold and copper foil.
