Moon Meadow. Special snacks from a special place

CHALLENGE & APPROACH

Moon Meadow is a new snack – bacon chips. It’s made of bacon, cholesterol free, and contains 70% of protein.Our task was to transform the original Spanish snack into something contemporary and popular. Therefore, we needed a big idea, bold catchy design and an authentic visual style.

IDEA & NAME

In Oregon, there exists a unique place along the ocean coast, where exceptional pigs leisurely roam the meadows. What sets this place apart is that these pigs sleep during the day and come alive at night. We’ve aptly named this location Moon Meadow.

DESIGN

We created the unique packaging design based on handcrafted illustrations. Three ‘night’ colors are used to differentiate three tastes which are also highlighted by the illustrative icons. The composition Is well balanced pointing out the logo. Brand colors are not typical for the category. We did it on purpose to stand out on the shelf, attract attention and bring this special vibe and atmosphere of the brand. As a product itself the design is something different and unexpected but at the same time got the touch of a craft farmer’s product.
