The tilapia fillet and steak are versatile and nutritious foods, appreciated for their white flesh and mild flavor.
Our challenge in this project was to create effective and unique communication with the consumer, conveying the quality, freshness, and practicality of the product.
The concept of Peixerol’s packaging seeks to capture the essence of tilapia by associating it with nature, water, and the simplicity of cooking. The goal was to create a packaging that is visually appealing by using graphic elements that evoke the marine environment—despite tilapia being a freshwater fish—through shades of blue, green, and white, as well as wave illustrations.
The central message of the packaging is to communicate the fish’s quality and freshness, linking it to a healthy and flavorful diet. To achieve this, we chose transparent plastic that partially reveals the product, complemented by an image of a prepared dish made with the fish cut. On the back of the packaging, we included simple and illustrated preparation and seasoning suggestions, making consumption even more convenient and practical.
