From the moment we teamed up with Playbuddy, the mission was clear: create a brand identity and packaging that reflect their commitment to quality, safety, and joy for pets and their owners in South Africa. We needed to Balance playful energy with premium design, disrupt an already crowded market, all while appealing to a wide range of pet owners. It was crucial to capture the essence of the bond between pets and their families while maintaining a fun, approachable tone.

Bringing Playbuddy to Life
A brand identity that radiates both warmth and trust by using playful and emotive typography, combined with a quirky mascot. For Playbuddy’s packaging, we focused on creating a design that’s visually engaging, with playful colours and bold typography, while integrating elements that communicate the brand’s premium quality.
We choose yellow for the brand’s core colour – a colour that represents friendship, warmth and happiness. Every design choice was made to reflect Playbuddy’s promise of fun, safety, and comfort—while also ensuring the packaging stands out on the shelf and grabs the attention of discerning pet owners.
