THE DESIGN CHALLENGE

A gap in the market presented an opportunity for aQuellé to launch a kids’ water. The challenge was making it visually appealing and exciting for young audiences, whilst retaining water category cues that reassure moms that this is a healthy choice for their family.

DESIGN SOLUTION

We worked alongside the client to leverage the practical and sustainable benefits of the packaging. An innovative spill-free cap makes it easier to use all around. Our design concept was to create a host of characters inspired by a wild watering hole with elephants and crocs and a riverine scene with flamingos, otters and crabs. The new packaging is exciting and playful, whilst the master brand architecture ensures recognisability.

aQuellé Splash punches out on the shelf, enticing kids to make healthier beverage choices and creating a fun-loving, fuss-free and eco-kind offering for one of SA’s leading water brands.
