Project Background:

In 2023, Shenzhen Guyi Design forged a strategic partnership with Lingjiang Liquor Industry Group to offer a full suite of online liquor packaging design services. This collaboration has already seen the successful launch of several products. One of the highlights of this partnership is the “Lingjiang Qiudu” project, a testament to the artistry and craftsmanship involved in creating standout liquor packaging.

Product Context:

As autumn unfolds, it brings a time of balance, reflection, and replenishment. The age-old wisdom of “autumn supplements for winter storage” resonates deeply, especially when complemented by a fine grain-based sauce wine.

Autumn also plays a pivotal role in the brewing of sauce wine, with key steps such as adding sand taking place during the Double Ninth Festival, a time when the yang energy peaks. This meticulous process results in a wine with a rich aroma that intensifies over time, offering a pure, unadulterated taste reminiscent of the golden hues of autumn.

The “Lingjiang Qiudu” embodies the soul of this season, evoking feelings of nostalgia and fulfillment with every sip.

Creative Direction:

Autumn inspires a cascade of imagery:

• Golden leaves carpeting the earth
• Maple and ginkgo leaves fluttering in the wind
• Migrating wild geese tracing paths in the sky

Autumn is a celebration of contrasts: tangible and intangible, colorful and subdued. From its sights to its sounds, the season evokes a harmony of textures, perceptions, and emotions. “Lingjiang Qiudu” translates these autumnal elements into its packaging design—an interplay of form and texture that reflects the gentle embrace of autumn rain and the mellow depth of sauce wine.

Bottle Design:

Inspired by the elegant white porcelain Ding Kiln of the Northern Song Dynasty, the bottle reflects a blend of heritage and modernity:

• Aesthetic Harmony: The bottle’s white porcelain finish exudes simplicity and sophistication, serving both as a piece of art and a functional vase.
• Soft yet Distinct Lines: Part of the bottle’s design embodies the tangible aspects of autumn, while other elements embrace the intangible, creating a visual and tactile balance.
• Ergonomic Features: A convenient easy-pull cap ensures effortless pouring and prevents spills, while the smooth, flowing silhouette integrates seamlessly into any environment, adding elegance to both handheld and tabletop settings.
• Minimalist Appeal: The Turkish gold “Autumn Crossing” logo graces the lower half of the bottle, preserving brand identity while maintaining an understated elegance.
