Rebranding Zimmer: A Brand that Unites Tradition and Future

About

Zimmer is a traditional meat brand from southern Brazil, with strong regional and international presence. With the growing sophistication of the meat industry — from premium cuts to certified origins — the company realized it was time to move forward. The goal was not only to evolve visually, but to establish a brand that could truly connect with people through its purpose.

Evolgo was responsible for the full brand transformation, including positioning, identity system, and packaging. Through in-depth interviews with clients and market players, the brand’s ideal was uncovered: more than providing quality meat, Zimmer unites people around something essential, powerful, and deeply cultural — the act of sharing a good cut.

Solution

The new slogan, “Cuts that bring us together,” became the conceptual cornerstone for both the identity and packaging system. The new visual identity, developed by designer Gilnei Silva from Evolgo, brings together modernity and recognition: a redesigned logo, refined typography, and a visual system rooted in elegance and warmth.

Each line of products — Angus, Novilho Jovem (Young Beef), and Traditional Cuts — received a distinct label architecture. Visual codes were designed to clearly differentiate the categories while keeping the brand system cohesive. Details such as texture, color contrast, and typographic hierarchy were carefully crafted to guide the shopper, reinforce credibility, and express quality at first glance.

Result

Zimmer’s new packaging creates impact and clarity on shelf while strengthening brand recall through consistency and emotion. The labels reflect not just the product inside, but the brand’s mission of creating connection through memorable culinary moments. A rebranding that respects legacy while opening the door to a bolder future — for Zimmer, its partners, and every table it reaches.
