TORO – Cat food: Repackaging Design Project

Intro :
The cat food market has changed. Today’s consumers no longer follow big brands — they choose what truly reflects who they are. TORO has been around for years, but it was time to shed its old image and step into something fresh, bold, and unapologetically confident — just like a new generation of women who don’t need permission to be themselves.

Challenge :
Our challenge was to redefine TORO with a clear and confident personality that resonates with Gen Z women — stylish, self-assured, and authentic. The packaging needed to express freshness and confidence naturally, standing out at first glance while remaining professional and trustworthy.

Idea :
We brought the story to life through illustrated characters — cat owners and their cats who share surprisingly similar personalities. Perhaps it’s the bond they’ve built over time, reflecting each other in subtle ways. Each pair represents a different recipe, brought to life with confident linework and bright, lively colors. The result is a new TORO that feels energetic, approachable, and full of self-assured charm — ready for everyone to rediscover.

TORO is back — with a new energy that needs no permission.
