Design Associati was commissioned to develop a new, elegant label for Grappa Ronco Blanchis, a flagship spirit from the renowned Collio Goriziano winery. The goal was to reflect the product’s artisanal prestige and geographical identity through refined graphic design elements and typographic detail.
This project marries tradition and sophistication. The label uses the Argesta typeface (from Atipo Foundry), chosen for its elegance and visual presence, creating a strong typographic voice across the entire label. The design also features silver hot stamping (foil) to lend a premium metallic accent, reinforcing the sense of quality and craftsmanship.
Visually, the design is clean and balanced: the type is given space to breathe, while the foil details are applied sparingly yet strategically, enhancing focal points without overpowering. The label respects the heritage of the product — an Italian artisanal grappa distilled in discontinuous steam-bath stills, aged for one year, and bottled at 45° — while presenting it with a contemporary, high-end aesthetic.

This label redesign aims to elevate a product with deep roots — a grappa born in Collio Goriziano from premium white grape pomace, distilled and aged with care — into a visual identity that balances heritage and modernity. The typographic choice, foil detailing, and disciplined layout project refinement, while allowing the product’s story to remain central.
By embracing typographic subtlety and high-quality finishing techniques, the label becomes more than a decorative element — it is an extension of the brand’s values: elegance, authenticity, and precision.
