BroHouse Brings Turabo Coffee Back to Life with a Narrative Packaging System
BroHouse, the internationally awarded Romanian agency based in Bucharest, took on the Turabo revival with the enthusiasm of people who should honestly switch to decaf. With founders Horia Oane and Costin Oane – also known as The Twin Brother duo behind the agency – the team set out to reboot a beloved Romanian coffee brand and rebuild its presence through a packaging system strong enough to relaunch it into both local and international markets.
A Narrative-First Design Approach
Because BroHouse never does anything halfway (thanks, twins), the redesign went deeper than aesthetics. The agency crafted a story-led packaging universe inspired by the Explorer archetype, giving each product a sense of curiosity and optimism. The goal wasn’t just to make Turabo look modern – it was to reconnect consumers with a narrative they can taste, feel, and instantly recognize.
A Signature Color System with Purpose
The Bucharest-based agency anchored the visual identity in Turabo’s iconic red-black-white palette:
- Red for recognition and emotional energy
- Black for premium confidence
- White for clarity and contemporary freshness
This combination became the backbone of a packaging system that supports both the existing 15-SKU portfolio and future expansions.
Breaking Away from Traditional Coffee Codes
BroHouse didn’t settle for the usual coffee clichés. No sepia-toned beans, no generic “morning vibes.” Instead, the internationally awarded agency pushed Turabo into a bold, expressive space where the packaging actually feels alive. The result is modern, friendly, and unmistakably different from traditional coffee brands cluttering the shelves.
Creating a Coherent 15-SKU Portfolio
With a diverse product range, consistency was key. The Twin Brother creative direction ensured every SKU had its own chromatic identity while remaining part of a unified conceptual system. This gives Turabo instant shelf recognition – whether in Romania or future international markets.
A Brand Built on People and Connection
Turabo has always been about people first, and coffee second. BroHouse translated this belief into a packaging experience that radiates optimism and connection. Under the guidance of Horia Oane and Costin Oane, the redesign captures Turabo’s mission: inspiring, uplifting, and bringing people closer – one cup at a time.
