Project Description:
MagnaFeast is a premium dog food brand developed by JUSTDOGS, one of India’s leading pet care retailers. The goal was to establish MagnaFeast as a science-backed, indulgent nutrition brand that pet parents can trust while delivering a visual identity that breaks away from the typical “clinical” or “cute” tropes often seen in pet food packaging.
The brand name itself reflects abundance and celebration. “Feast” signifies a joyful, satisfying experience a meal pets look forward to.
We built the brand around the emotional core of love, care, and nourishment, paired with a visual tone that feels royal, modern, and premium.
Design Approach:
The packaging uses a pantone shade as the primary color. A shade that evokes trust, depth, and calmness paired with subtle Silver accents that give it a luxurious touch. The overall aesthetic draws inspiration from royal feasts, reimagined in a minimal, contemporary visual language.
We developed a unified design system for multiple SKUs, each featuring:
- A bold color-blocked layout
- Clear labeling of product type (adult, puppy, grain-free, etc.)
- Ingredient callouts and icons for fast scanning
- Mouthwatering dog visuals that strike the perfect balance between joy and trustworthiness
Typography is clean and commanding, ensuring strong shelf visibility. The back of the pack is structured for easy understanding, with feeding guidelines, nutritional info, and brand values presented in a clean, digestible format.
Outcome:
MagnaFeast now sits proudly in the premium tier of the Indian pet food market. The design helps it stand out in retail shelves and build emotional connection with pet parents who want nothing but the best for their dogs.
