The Winchester Mystery House is a mansion in San Jose that was once the personal residence of Sarah Winchester, the widow of firearm magnate William Wirt Winchester. A medium told her that she must continuously build a home for herself and the spirits of people who had fallen victim to Winchester rifles. The Winchester Mystery House now provides a dining service that includes cocktails for the customers. Winchester Mystery is a tribute to the mansion and Sarah Winchester in the form of fine quality whiskey.

The goal for this project was to create a new brand identity that matched the theme of a Victorian haunted house while paying tribute to the widow who created this magnificent mansion. To strengthen its brand equity, I decided to establish this dark and elegant aesthetic to represent its significance as a landmark in San Jose.
