Dona Sancha, an influential figure in the history of Silgueiros – Portugal, established in 1186 the patronage of Santa Maria de Silgueiros together with her husband Daganel, King D.Sancho I, that reigned at the time.
The branding and packaging design that we share, embraces the legacy and make us travel into the age of Kings and Queens.
We have studied in detail D. Sancha history and legacy, and the inspiration easily comes. Her life was very rich in details, and objects, reason why we have decided to use the sword, which shows power, conquer and perseverance to rule and our main creative object.
Roses were allways connected with the vineyards, to prevent pests but they also were a symbol of tenderness and consistency.
The final result, was a full product range Red, White and Rosé Wine, which are clearly indentified with noble colors, classy finishing details as fine paper, dry and gold embossing and a special die cut.
DONA SANCHA range was absolutely inspired in a true history of Kings and Queens, their cultural and material heritage, wich has enriched culturaly our design team. If we look to the full product range (3+2+1) in total, we can navigate into a design and creative crescendum, which will end in their top of range.
