Perturbed by the negative connotations around snacking in today’s world, Kamlamrit’s healthy snacking lotus seeds or makhana as it’s called in Hindi was founded to bring traditional Indian snacks to the forefront.

The brief was focused on bringing in Indian elements and focusing on the Bengali heritage of the brand.

We brought in customised lettering inspired by the curves of the Indian lotus also know as Kamla.  The packaging reflects the style of vintage Indian postage stamps and the green waters of Bengal where the seeds are harvested.
