Ploypetch – Chinese Sausage: Branding & Packaging Design
Challenge: Chinese sausage ‘Ploypetch’ with white sesame has a unique scent, with high-quality ingredients, roasted on a charcoal stove for 7 days and 7 nights. This product is aimed to be Chonburi’s souvenir. The prominent ‘พ’ in the logo is to remain the same.
Idea: Logo is modified to be more recognizable, and in a contemporary style. The color red is made darker, more premium. Packaging is made more contemporary as well. The traditional image of sausage making, combined with transparent window that shows the real product as hanging sausages, represent the brand’s sophistication. Part of the bag is transparent to show the real sausages inside. Green stripes distinguish the brand from others in the market, and make it more memorable.
