Tai Lin – Bird’ Nest : [the grandeur of Chinese palace] Resize – Packaging Design

Project Challenge: Current product from Tai Lin Bird’s Nest comes in a 10-20 pieces of dried bird’s nest packaging, which is suitable for buying in bulk but is quite expensive. To make the purchase easier and more frequent for new customers, or position it as a souvenir, the packaging is changed to be more premium and compact with 2 pieces of dried bird’s nest per box.

Idea: [the grandeur of Chinese palace] Bird’s nest has been popular delicacy among Chinese royalties, thanks to its medicinal benefits. Concept: bird’s nest is visible through a traditional Chinese window, and building the vibe with images of traditional Chinese garden. When sliding the box open, 2 pieces of bird’s nest are placed on luxurious shiny white cloth, which helps protects the bird’s nest.
