Andi Weigand, junior boss of Weingut Weigand in Iphofen, Germany, has a clear idea for the look of his natural wine range: anything but dry as dust. Because that’s what the Lower Franconian wine scene has been for long enough. Therefore, the natural wine series with an eye-catching fresh design should not only taste good, but also be visually pleasing.

Natural wine stands out from conventional wine in terms of taste and production, which is why the label design needed to stand out and arouse the curiosity of conventional wine drinkers. Thanks to experimental typography and adaptive design, the Silvaner, Skin, MTH and White varieties became real design objects and sold out immediately. Now the natural wines are part of the winery’s core business and have made themselves deservedly comfortable in the Weigand portfolio.
