Gin Philosophy

The only company in the Aegean that produces London* Dry GIN from a 100% distillation, EVA distillery, chose us to design the packaging of the gin ‘Philosophy’. A balanced blend of 16 hand-selected herbs, fruits, flowers, spices, seeds, and roots, some native and some exotic. Juniper and angelica root from Romania, citrus fruits from Greece, kumquat from Corfu, Indian cardamom, Chinese ginger, Italian coriander, macro pepper from Congo, and flowers from Morocco, Egypt, and Croatia.

Combining the ancient Greek column with a contemporary perspective reveals a remarkable notion of coexistence between the past and the present, embodying a spirit inspired by Greek philosophy. This harmonious interaction evokes an emotional connection to the traditions, highlighting the intriguing philosophy embedded in the design of this alcoholic beverage.

Curator’s Insight

The juxtaposition of the classical column against the modern typography and minimalist color palette is particularly striking, making the bottle stand out effortlessly on the shelf. This design choice not only catches the eye but also reflects the brand’s values of producing a high-quality gin with natural ingredients while honoring tradition and embracing innovation.

What truly sets this design apart is its ability to seamlessly merge elements from different cultures and eras, creating a fusion of history, art, and science. This unique combination not only adds depth to the design but also conveys a message of harmony and diversity, which holds great relevance in today’s world.
