The task at hand
The process of building a brand identity is full of challenges and takes time. We first started with a detailed analysis of some competing brands, which was conducted through a brainstorming session where we outlined several strategies to elevate the brand to a new level. We divided the work on the project into seperate phases, initially focusing on the redesing of the logo and a more corporate style. While also creating concepts for each individual product series. At this stage, we faced the challenged of packaging design, which required authentic gourmet photographs, created with the assistance of a professional chef.
Main ideas behind the design
For this design we chose to really highlight the delicate nature of the Heron product through the use of simple color combinations which neatly complement each other, such as gold and black or silver and white. We also added fresh fruits and vegetables to each packaging design in order to really make the main focus of the cover which is the meat fully stand out. Finally, after a successful photo session, our designers made a precise retouch of the images leading to the full development of the catalogue product range.
