Ebi Chan Rebranding

Ebi-chan is a store that provides high-quality, self-designed phone cases in the Japanese anime style. These cases feature vibrant, bright colors and charming characters, making them cute and attractive to people loving anime.

However, the old logo presented challenges due to its length and the vertical alignment of its slogan, “Cutegasm Kingdom” which complicated the printing process. Additionally, the logo’s multiple colors, including red, yellow, and black, affected the phone case designs on various materials. To address these issues, our logo redesign optimized the length and color scheme.

Firstly, we exchanged the colors between the store name and the background, especially red and white, to make the name clearer and more stable for printing on different materials.

Secondly, we stylized the icon of the yellow shrimp into a distinctive shape of the shrimp and designed it next to the brand name to optimize its space in the logo.

The final important thing is dividing the words “Cutegasm” and “Kingdom” into two columns and separating each letter in a horizontal line; while the slogan remains ordered on the right side of the logo.

After all, the overview of the new logo has a balanced structure between the main logo and the slogan, achieving a simple yet harmonious design with red and black colors. The red color is particularly noticeable, expressing the youth and energy of Ebi-chan’s young customers.
