Naming, branding, and packaging of VINJOY! a range of wine or wine-based drinks packaged in cans, starting with the launch of its refreshing Sangria with citrus and wild berry notes. This project was developed for Vinos Uvalca, a winery from La Mancha committed to rural development through more sustainable, innovative, and distinctive projects, focused on producing wines with lower alcohol content, softer flavors, and innovative packaging, along with a more modern and attractive design aimed at younger generations. Their literal request was, “We want to revolutionize the world of wine.”

The challenge of naming a wine-based product with a youthful character that connects with Generation Z and Millennials, and entices them to consume it in a different way, resulted in VINJOY! The combination of the words “vino” (wine) and “enjoy” was used to define a new way of enjoying wine, with an exclamation mark as a call to action, encouraging a spontaneous and open invitation to savor the moment.

Graphically, the brand features a simple but expressive and distinctive typography, complemented by a repetitive use of the exclamation mark. This symbol is bold but conveys movement, evoking dance, fun, and the effervescence of the product. In terms of color, it is based on the hue of sangria against a cream background, providing brightness and contrast. The design is lively and carries the signature of a Spanish product. The graphic resource of the exclamations will change color depending on the flavor of each product.

Regarding production, it involves a label on an aluminum can, a more sustainable, practical, and safe packaging alternative, ideal for the target audience. The polypropylene label has a matte finish, with a glossy UV varnish effect and raised texture on the brand name and exclamations, adding a touch of distinction. A four-pack cardboard box with a die-cut handle has been designed for easy transport.

In terms of communication, the brand’s tone is fresh and direct, delivering playful messages like “Wine not?” or “Vinjoy the moment!”
